When my daughter was three, I found myself facing the same dilemma as many young moms today: how do I re-enter the work force without re-entering the rat race?

I spent a year and a half struggling with that question. Then one day, while attending an embroidery home show, I had a flash of inspiration. Making and selling beautiful, personalized embroidery would be a great business project for me…one that combined my 20+ years of corporate business experience with my creativity and my love of personalized gifts. Finally I could imagine a way to be my own boss, help support our family and do something I genuinely loved and valued.

So I took that leap of faith and raided the family savings to buy a commercial embroidery machine. Shortly thereafter I had my first home show and Honey Bunny Embroidery was born! Word spread quickly and before I knew it, the business was inundated with orders.

The business has evolved quite a bit since that initial moment of inspiration. After the first year, in response to customer demand, our product offerings expanded to include a wider range of gifts (and our name changed to reflect who we are as a company to Honey Bunny Gifts). Thanks to all the customers who now support Honey Bunny my dream is well underway.
